Hash Mac Keyboard Shortcut Stopped Working

At work I use a 2013 Mac Pro 6,1 which I would like to say has been great however I've had a few small issues that show up. Most recently, is the ALT + 3 keyboard shortcut to show the good old hash (#) symbol (A.K.A: Hash Tag) was no longer working. But did return again after a few reboots. This happened without me changing an settings, installing any new apps, changing hardware. Just came to work one morning and it was working fine, then at some point in the day it stopped working. Was frustrating when you work in social media and had to Google 'hash tag' and then copy and paste it into a post. Luckily I found the cause for this and a fix.

Garmin FTP Test – My 1st Experience using an Edge 1000 GPS Bike Computer

Doing an FTP (Functional Threshold Power) workout and getting your FTP score is a great way to boost your cycling training. It essentially gives you a benchmark allowing you to plan your training to fit your fitness levels by giving power bands to train in. You can then come back and re-test to measure your progress over time. I'd say aim to do it every 3-4 months to give you time to increase fitness as the FTP test is pretty tiring in itself, and will leave you exhausted.

Stop Yosemite apps going full screen

One of the bugbears since making the upgrade to OS X 10.10 Yosemite is how it handles full screen switching. In the past, you could click the green icon found in the top left of each window to make the active window large but not enable full screen mode (this was done from the top right corner if the applications supported this).
